It was nominated to play Last Card Standing this is how we play the game. I am doing this post as I watch game 1 of the Tigers vs Astros. I am going to list 30 cards 1 for each team. You are to make sure your card is the last one standing. How that works is that Ill be eliminating 5 cards through the randomizer. The randomizer already placed the cards in order as you'll pick from. Here's what you can choose from again the randomizer put these cards in no particular order.
Please note 2 people can't have the same card so please read the comments to see whom is already picked. Once the final 5 are remaining they will be eliminated 1 by 1 until 1 is remaining. Remember you want your card to remaining. There's 2 prizes being rewarded for this contest the 1 Grand Prize is the 1990 Topps Major League Debut 1989 Set. The second prize is there is a hidden message within 30 players representing the teams there's 5 cards that are part of it if you can figure it out that person will win their choice between the 1990 Pacific Senior League Complete Set w/stickers or the 1994 Upper Deck All-Time Heroes set. This contest ends on October 12th. 1 entry per person please thanks & good luck to all who enter the contest. Remember pick 1 card & try to figure out the hidden message, until then I am reminded of the quote of Rogers Hornsby about signing autographs for kids "Any Ballplayer whom doesn't sign for little kids ain't an American, He's a Communist."
Guess I'll go with the Red Sox and Reggie Smith! I'll have to try to find the hidden message when I have more time..
ReplyDeleteThis is a stretch, but If you take the last name on the Astros card, the position of the Devil Rays card, the number on the Angels card, the star designation in the Giants card, and the abbreviated team name in the Cardinals card - you get "Heep of 40 rookie cards"! Message unhidden! LOL!
DeleteI will take my home team Minnesota Twins and Pete Redfern. Hidden message is still hidden to me.
ReplyDeleteLet's go Oakland (and Ozzie Canseco)!
