FLEA MARKET FINDS

 

          On Sunday taking a page from Blogger friend Fuji I went to the last Flea market of the year at a Antique Mall in my area picked this up for $20 it wasn't a necessity for me to buy it but its rare to see a game used patch that wasn't a manufacturer's type patch. From there I picked up the 1990 Topps Major League Debut Set that has the 1991 design for $8 to give me all 3 years of the sets plus it beats having to people trying to find it on my wantlists then I get home put it away in the sleeves when it turns out I am missing 10 cards all the Detroit Tigers which shouldn't be a problem I have a friend who might have the team set for me others that are missing are Steve Avery,Carlos Baerga,Scott Erickson,Mark Leiter Sr. ,Charles Nagy, & of Course Frank Thomas. 

Not bad of a set for $8 that features that had a missing Frank Thomas but Jerry Goff Jared's Dad card was there.

 

His son might not have played this week but his dad's card played a role in my collection.

I featured Trevor cause his 1991 Stamp card I still need plus at $25 for the set was a steal or not.

             As I finished off my spending at the Flea Market again not a big need but for $25 I picked up the 1987 Jogo CFL set I did my research all 110 cards were there then I checked what eBay sellers were selling it for roughly $95 so you tell me was it worth it or not. Anyways that's my latest finds at my flea market buying so you tell me how I did & what of the 3 purchases would ya bought or would ya done like me gotten all 3 as well. Until then I am reminded of what Rogers Hornsby once said "I don't want to play golf. When I hit a ball, I want someone else to go chase it."
